Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist in pharmacy services, and help operate the pharmacy per Standards of Practice.

You will deliver friendly customer service, manage prescription data entry, assist with administration and filing, and support the pharmacist in patient counseling and workflow. This role emphasizes accuracy and privacy in a fast-paced community setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Good problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per Standards.
• Assist in dispensing under pharmacist supervision and prepare orders.
• Handle third-party billing adjudication and maintain records.
• Answer phones and route to pharmacist as needed.
• Data entry for prescriptions and manage prescription workflow.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all duties.
