Loblaw Companies Limited’s Shoppers Drug Mart store in Oshawa is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist with pharmacy services, and maintain the Pharmacy operations in line with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

You will help with prescription processing, data entry, and assist the pharmacist with clinical inquiries while upholding privacy and providing excellent customer service.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per standards.
• Assist pharmacist with clinical inquiries and ensure proper counseling.
• Process prescriptions, handle third-party billing, and manage faxes.
• Enter data, count, label, and package medications per procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and operate the cash register in the dispensary.
