Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. seeks an assistant to support dispensing prescriptions and pharmacy services. You will help ensure accurate data entry, prepare prescriptions per company standards, and deliver friendly, timely customer care in a community store setting.

You will assist with administration, third-party billing, and counseling referrals to the Pharmacist while maintaining confidentiality and privacy. A local role with flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma credited course preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred.
• Effective organizational skills, ability to multi task.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and gather prescription information per Standards.
• Receive new and repeat prescription orders per SOPs.
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage Third-Party Accounts.
• Answer calls and refer to a pharmacist when needed.
• Assist in prescription preparation and data entry in pharmacy systems.
