Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and distributing patient prescriptions within a fast-paced community setting. You will input prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system, assist with third party management and reconciliation, and help maintain accurate records and inventory.

Assist the Pharmacist with prescriptions preparation and packaging.
Input prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system and manage records.
Monitor inventory levels and expiry dates.
Willingness to work weeknights and weekends.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy's computer system
Complete documentation such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices
Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
