North York General Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Services for a Full Time Temporary 12‑month assignment at the General Site, 4001 Leslie Street. You will deliver direct patient care, identify and prevent drug therapy problems, and educate patients and staff while supporting safe medication practices.

The role emphasizes evidence‑informed practice, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and contribution to a health‑focused environment in a diverse community.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited university Pharmacy Program.
• Licensed under Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Hospital residency or hospital direct patient care experience is an asset.

You will also participate in patient education, support the teaching of students, provide drug information and/or education to nursing and medical staff, and ensure patient medication safety by supporting drug distribution services. You`re also a great relationship builder, communicate effectively with peers across the entire organization and effortlessly connect with physicians, staff, patients, and families in our diverse community. You are highly organized, have great interpersonal skills, demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning skills and adapt well in a dynamic environment.
