Job summary

Sinai Health in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy department on a temporary full-time basis up to 4 months. The Pharmacist will provide medication distribution, drug information and education to patients and staff within a traditional dispensing system.

Collaborating with an interprofessional team to determine optimal treatment plans and implement interventions in line with the discipline's standards of practice, this role requires an Ontario license and hospital

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy.
• Part A License to practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Previous hospital experience is required.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Meditech is an asset.
• CSHP membership is preferred.
• Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required.

Job Outline:

The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication distribution, drug information and education services to patients and staff in a traditional dispensing system. You will be involved in interacting with other interprofessional team members and patients to determine the most appropriate and effective course of treatment for patients and implement interventions in accordance with the standards of practice for the discipline.

Education & Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy
• Part A License to practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Previous related experience in a hospital setting is required
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience with Meditech is an asset
• Membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) is preferred
• Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required

Salary: Minimum - $50.78/hour; Maximum - $67.93/hour
