Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy
• Practice within regulatory requirements
• Ensure privacy and consent management
• Counsel on prescriptions and OTC products
• Extend scope with Professional Services when able
• Be clearly identifiable to the public
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions dispensed
• Communicate with other health care professionals
• Maintain records per legislation and policy
• Control access to dispensary and manage inventory
• Review workflow queues daily
• Monitor stock and will-call bins
• Oversee medication orders from wholesaler
• Document and report controlled substances as required
• Maintain store image at entry/pickup areas
• Engage with financial reports as needed
• Respond to store communications
• File incident reports for medication or privacy incidents
