Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team, delivering accurate dispensing, patient education, and friendly, proactive care to our customers. You’ll help maintain adequate inventory levels and support timely, high‑quality service in-store.

You'll counsel patients on medications, assist with cost control, and participate in community education and public health initiatives, contributing to a positive patient experience every day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Class A Pharmacists license.
• Superior customer relations skills and professionalism.
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills.
• Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and action planning abilities.
• Familiar with Healthwatch or KROLL Pharmacy systems (asset).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely.
• Ensure inventory levels meet patients’ needs.
• Counsel patients on new medications with friendly interaction.
• Educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
• Provide timely resolution to patient needs and Doctor’s requests.
• Review and control costs within Loblaw Pharmacy.
• Provide ongoing training for Pharmacy colleagues.
