Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to manage daily Pharmacy operations, provide professional consultations, and dispense medications. You will ensure privacy, compliance with regulations, and accurate dispensing while maintaining high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with health care providers, maintain records, and support expanded scope services as needed. A strong customer service mindset and leadership qualities are essential for success in this locally owned store

Qualifications

Independent thinking and decision making when addressing issues.
Plan, coordinate and delegate tasks and coach Pharmacy colleagues.
Drive and build the business, lead by example, support enterprise programs.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Strong customer relations and professionalism in all interactions.
Strong problem-solving and action-planning abilities.
Familiarity with Pharmacy systems is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

Manage Pharmacy operations while on duty and provide consultations to customers and health care providers.
Dispense medications and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
Maintain patient records in accordance with legislation and standards.
Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products.
Coordinate with health care professionals to support patient care.
