Job summary

Covenant Health’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose is seeking a Pharmacist I to join the Pharmacy SMHC team. You will oversee safe preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an ACP license with prescribing authority within 18 months, and prior hospital experience is preferred. This temporary full-time position offers benefits and is located at St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent required.
• Active license with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required.
• Additional prescribing authorization as a requirement within 18 months of hire required.

Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Collaborative experience as part of a multi-disciplinary patient care team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous hospital experience. Completion of an accredited hospital residency/Pharm D program. Member of Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Familiarity with Connect Care.
