Shoppers Drug Mart is looking for a Pharmacist to join our Alberta team. You will check prescriptions for accuracy, counsel patients on medications, and provide health-management consultations in a locally owned store with the support of a national brand.

The role requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a license to practice in the province, plus strong communication skills in English (French in some areas). Competitive pay and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy is required.
• License to practice in the province where you seek employment.

Responsibilities

• Checking prescriptions for accuracy.
• Counseling on prescription medications.
• OTC counseling.
• Health management consulting.
• Participation in SDM programs including cognitive/enhanced services as these programs may evolve over time and as required by the business.
• Collaboration with the Pharmacy Technician / Assistant to accurately dispense prescription medications.
