The Pharmacist provides patient-focused services and professional advice on prescriptions and OTC medications, building relationships with local health care professionals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid pharmacist license for Manitoba in good standing.
• Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and provide problem-solving in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care.
• Oversee dispensing duties and ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Provide professional advice and counseling on prescription and OTC meds.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants in delivery of medication and counseling.
