Job summary

A leading co-operative in Manitoba is seeking a Pharmacist to provide patient-focused services, counsel on medications, and oversee Pharmacy staff. This role offers the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time and floats between locations in Winnipeg and rural areas. Successful applicants must have a valid pharmacist license for Manitoba, two years of experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential. Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid pharmacist license for the province of MB, be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists Manitoba, and have no practice restrictions.
  • Preference for individuals with at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist.
  • Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care.
  • Ensure all medication dispensing processes are accurate and appropriately managed.
  • Oversee all dispensing duties carried out by a Pharmacy Assistant.

Skills

Valid pharmacist license for the province of MB
Strong communication skills
Experience with Kroll pharmacy software
Independent problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
