Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist on duty to manage the Pharmacy operations, provide patient consultations and dispense medications in Canada’s Niagara region.

You will ensure privacy, maintain accurate records, and support inventory and workflow processes while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires strong customer service, professional communication with health care providers, and adherence to provincial/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Counsel customers on prescriptions and behind-the-counter products
• Ensure privacy requirements and consent management are respected
• Dispense medications accurately and communicate with other health care professionals
• Maintain records and documentation per legislation, standards and SOPs
• Control access to the dispensary and oversee stock and orders
• Review workflow queues and manage will-call bins and expired inventory
• Support operations to reflect a professional store image and financial reporting
