Job summary

GreenShield Canada is seeking a Pharmacist (Operations Role) to oversee dispensary operations, patient care, and clinical services within our Ontario-based online pharmacy. Qualifications

• Bachelor or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current Ontario College of Pharmacists licensure (Part A and in good standing).
• Experience with group home or long-term care is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality pharmacy service and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Dispensary operations oversight and patient care.
• Clinically verify prescriptions in the pharmacymanagement system.
• Counsel on prescriptions per standards of practice and ethics.
• Oversee all compounding activities to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor and adjust dispensary operations to maintain safety and service quality.
• Train pharmacy team on SOPs and standards of practice.
• Identify, document, analyze, and resolve medication incidents.
• Provide reporting on metrics to leadership.
• Be a point of contact for group home staff and leadership.
• Provide after-hours on-call services.
• Identify opportunities to support patient care and wellness.
• Provide minor ailment assessment and prescribing services.
• Provide pharmaceutical opinions when appropriate.
• Support clinical pharmacist team activities.
