Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join Forbes Pharmacy Gorge in Victoria, BC. You will deliver clinical services, administer vaccines, and supervise students while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborative patient care.

The ideal candidate is licensed with the BC College of Pharmacists, possesses injection certification, and can thrive in a team-oriented environment to support comprehensive patient care and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations.
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
