Job summary

Save-On-Foods in 100 Mile House, BC is hiring a Pharmacist for a temporary 12-month position starting July 2026. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, perform vaccinations, and provide patient-centered care while staying current with industry trends.

Requirements include a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, injection certification, and experience with OAT. Proficiency with Kroll is preferred, and additional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing.
• Injection certification is required.
• Proficient with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and required training.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge as needed.
• Additional certifications are an asset.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our location in 100 Mile House, BC.

This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 months, beginning in July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient‑centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

Qualifications

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details

$68.00 - $71.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
