Qualifications

Neighbourly Pharmacy is hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Sandstone Pharmacies Glenmore Landing in Calgary, AB. We offer full pharmacy team support, progressive pharmacy practice, and friendly staff.

Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  • Monitor medication therapy for effectiveness, adverse reactions, and interactions
  • Counsel patients on prescriptions, OTC products, and health issues, including indications, contraindications, adverse effects, interactions, and storage
  • Answer patient questions requiring therapeutic knowledge or clinical assessment
  • Provide clinical services as appropriate
  • Administer injections/immunizations as needed
  • Promote health and wellness through education on disease prevention, lifestyle, and medication adherence
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in restricted activities
  • Follow all regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Engage in continuous professional development
  • Other duties as required

Education and Experience
  • Licensed with the Alberta College of Pharmacy in good standing
