Ashfield Healthcare Canada Inc. is seeking a Pharmaceutical Representative for Primary Care/Neurology to achieve territory sales objectives by communicating product information and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Contract length: 12-Months (High Potential for Renewal). You will deliver approved messages, organize CME activities, develop a territory plan, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience organizing and supporting CME programs and educational events.
• Knowledge of the assigned territory is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved product and brand messages to targeted family physicians, general practitioners and pharmacists.
• Build strong relationships with customers in person and in a virtual environment.
• Organize and coordinate speaker programs, symposia, virtual events, exhibits, and CME activities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Leverage customer insights to identify opportunities and hit territory sales objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and external partners to support territory and brand execution.
• Identify and report adverse events and product complaints in accordance with procedures.

Job description

The Pharmaceutical Representative, Primary Care/Neurology, is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through effective communication of prescription product information, and the development of strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Contract length: 12-Months (High Potential for Renewal)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver approved product and brand messages to targeted family physicians, general practitioners and pharmacists in accordance with the product monograph, approved messaging, company policies, and brand strategy.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, both in person and in a virtual environment.
• Organize and coordinate speaker programs, symposia, virtual events, exhibits, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities in support of brand objectives.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Leverage customer insights and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize activities, and achieve territory sales objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues and external business partners to support territory and brand execution.
• Demonstrate the Company’s values and leader behaviors, including adherence to policies, procedures and the IMC Code of Marketing Practices.
• Identify and report adverse events and product complaints in accordance with corporate procedure.
• Maintain all Company property (samples, promotional materials, etc.) in good working condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in Primary Care and/or Neurology is preferred.
• Experience organizing and supporting CME programs and educational events.
• Knowledge of the assigned territory is considered an asset.
