Job summary

Allied Universal, a global leader in security services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee security operations within a highly regulated pharma environment in North York and surrounding area, Toronto, ON.

You will manage end-to-end operational performance, oversee staffing, training, compliance, and client engagement, while upholding strict regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of direct management experience in healthcare, pharma, or regulated environments.
• Ontario Security Guard License required.
• Ontario G‑Class Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and incident reporting platforms.
• First Aid training or willingness to obtain (reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, and vacancies.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure orders and regulations are met.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of security personnel.
• Investigate incidents and deliver timely reports.
• Serve as liaison between leadership and healthcare stakeholders.
• Deliver performance evaluations and employee development plans.
• Coordinate site-specific training and professional development.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and after-hours issues.
• Foster accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
