Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. (BIOVECTRA) in Windsor, NS is seeking a Production Sanitation Technician responsible for sanitation in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will operate manual and automated equipment, handle hazardous materials, and support batch production records while ensuring safety and quality. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 0–2+ years’ experience, and the ability to follow SOPs with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 2+ years’ experience.
• Post secondary education with a diploma in an applicable area of study is considered an asset.
• Industrial experience in a pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated environment is an asset.
• WHMIS certification and First Aid are assets.
• cGMP experience is an asset.
• Follow strict SOPs with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to weigh/measure chemical materials for pharmaceuticals.
• Able to work in a dynamic team and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean an industrial clean room environment and related areas.
• Operate manual and automated equipment.
• Safely handle hazardous materials (acids, bases, solvents, APIs).
• Perform process sampling and assist with housekeeping and warehousing.
• Collaborate with other departments on training and documentation.
• Provide feedback to improve SOPs and process docs.
• Support QA batch production records and adherence to procedures.
