The Team
At the Prince George Fire Centre, you'll join a dynamic and established team of diverse individuals dedicated to working together towards a common goal of wildfire management and safety. Our team comprises both Unit crews, made up of 22 people, and Initial Attack crews, made up of 4 people. As a part of this team, you'll collaborate with professionals in wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery from across the province. The Fire Crew leader plays a critical role in executing fire suppression and hazard plans, ensuring crews are effectively mobilized in incident response. In this role, you'll lead crews on the fireline and in day-to-day fieldwork around their communities, playing a vital part in keeping these communities safe and resilient. Your work in wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery will have a direct impact across the province.
