At the Cariboo Fire Centre, you'll join a dynamic and established team of diverse individuals dedicated to working together towards a common goal of wildfire management and safety. Our team comprises both Unit crews, made up of 22 people, and Initial Attack crews, made up of 4 people. As a part of this team, you'll collaborate with professionals in wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery from across the province. The Fire Crew leader plays a critical role in executing fire suppression and hazard plans, ensuring crews are effectively mobilized in incident response. In this role, you'll lead crews on the fireline and in day‑to‑day fieldwork around their communities, playing a vital part in keeping these communities safe and resilient. Your work in wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery will have a direct impact across the province. This position is posted for the following Fire Centres: Cariboo, Coastal, Kamloops, Northwest, Prince George, and Southeast.
