Job summary

Pet Valu in Wainwright, AB is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will coach a team to deliver world-class service and assist Pet Parents with nutrition and pet-care solutions. You will recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, maintain store standards, manage inventory and safety audits, and support daily operations to help the store meet its goals while working weekends and evenings as needed.

This role requires a friendly, reliable communicator with a passion for pets and community

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years customer service and retail store management experience.
• Ability to recruit, train, schedule and coach staff.
• Strong communication and community relations skills.
• Comfort with weekly weekend/evening shifts.

Responsibilities
