Job summary

Pet Valu Camrose is hiring a Sales Associate to help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and supplies for their pets. You will join a team of Pet Experts and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include cashiering, stocking, processing orders, and maintaining a clean store. You should have retail or customer service experience, be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs, and be available for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Placing small items (under 10 lbs) into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking items up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as required.
