Job summary

Premium Retail Services (Canada), Inc. is seeking a Pet Ambassador for a one-off event in Abbotsford. The role includes 9 hours split between training, a pre-event call, and in-store activity.

You will represent a major pet brand and have opportunities for future paid Pet Ambassador work. You will receive ongoing training, work with a collaborative team, and have the chance to win an extra $200 through a photo contest.

Qualifications

• Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health, and pet nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to get to and from multiple stores in your area.

Responsibilities

• Tidy and face client’s products on shelves and ensure POS materials are set up to help pet parents find what they need.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.
• Provide store staff with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge including benefits and promotions to help increase recommendations and sales, with guidance from the client and store manager approvals.
• Build brand awareness and affinity by engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.
• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations for their pets.
• Set up demos/displays as required.
• Maintain and leverage client-provided material, such as equipment and handouts, to engage associates and pet parents.
• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.
