Job summary

UPS in Quebec City, Quebec, is hiring a temporary, seasonal part-time Delivery Driver using your personal vehicle to deliver packages in residential areas. This outdoor, fast-paced position includes lifting, loading, and unloading duties while you serve customers with professionalism. Shifts Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00, 3–5 hours per day.

Pay is CAD 19 per hour plus 0.59 CAD per kilometer driven. Requirements: at least 21 years old, valid Class 5 license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs,

Job Description

Job Summary

This position is a temporary and seasonal Part-time role requiring use of one's personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. Employee performs in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, loads packages into personal vehicle, and delivers packages to customers.

Shift

• Must be Available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am – 7pm to work minimum 3-5 hours - Normally the start time is between 10am and Noon

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $19/h
• UPS will reimburse you 0.59$ for each kilometer you drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs
• Excellent customer contact and service skills
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages
• Bilingual ( French and English)
• Vehicle registered in candidate's name
• Valid vehicle insurance
