Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is hiring for a temporary, seasonal part-time delivery driver in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The role requires using your own vehicle to deliver packages in residential areas, with physical outdoor work and lifting up to 70 lbs.

Must be available Monday to Friday, 10am–7pm, for 3–5 hours per shift, starting around 10am–noon. Compensation is $19 per hour plus per-kilometer reimbursement.

Job Description:

This position is a temporary and seasonal Part-time role requiring use of one’s personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. Employee performs in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieves, loads packages into personal vehicle, and delivers packages to customers.

Shift:

• Must be Available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am – 7pm to work minimum 3-5 hours - Normally the start time is between 10am and Noon

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $19/h
• UPS will reimburse you 0.59$ for each kilometer you drive

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs
• Excellent customer contact and service skills
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages
• Bilingual ( French and English)
• Vehicle registered in candidate’s name
• Valid vehicle insurance

• 4-door sedans and hatchbacks (mid-size or larger)

• Vans must have a covered and secure bed
