Job summary

Hope4life is seeking a Personal Support Worker for Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. This part-time / casual role offers 30 hours per week, with pay between $18.50 and $21.50 per hour.

Work locations include Spruce Grove and Stony Plain, with driving mandatory and a schedule of Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Responsibilities include compassionate caregiving for children with spectrum disorders and autism, supported by mandatory First Aid, police and child intervention checks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supportive care experience (Mandatory)
• Experience working with Spectrum Disorders
• Experience supporting children with Autism
• First Aid Certification (Required)
• Police Clearance Check (Less than 6 months old – Edmonton Police only accepted)
• Child Intervention Check (Mandatory)
• Class 5 License (Preferred)
• NVCI / MANDT (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home/center-based Personal Support to children
• Support daily activities and routines to promote well-being
• Collaborate with families and care teams to implement care plans
