Under the direction of the Co-Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) is an integral part of the health care team, and in this role, encourages, supports and promotes independence for the residents by assisting with activities of daily living.
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) is responsible for a comprehensive range of duties encompassing resident care, interdisciplinary collaboration, adherence to organizational policies, and the maintenance of a safe environment. Core responsibilities involve provision of direct patient care, diligent observation and timely reporting of changes in health status, and accurate completion of all required documentation.
Please note, all applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Employment with Jarlette Health Services will be contingent on proof of vaccination against COVID-19, a screening for tuberculosis, two positive references and, prior to starting at the location, a receipt of a current criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening.
