Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Huntsville

Join RhynoCare Staffing Solutions as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Huntsville. We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide skilled care aligned with corporate policies, standards, and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

1. Assist residents with activities of daily living.
2. Support registered staff with diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
3. Complete timely, accurate documentation.
4. Ensure holistic, quality resident care in line with RhynoCare’s Mission, Vision, Values, and the Resident Bill of Rights.
5. Assist with meal services and restorative nursing.
6. Coordinate activities for effective resident care during shifts.
7. Follow legislation, best practices, and safety procedures.
8. Participate in risk management and quality improvement programs.
9. Mentor new staff and promote educational opportunities.
10. Attend safety meetings and foster teamwork among staff.
11. Adhere to health and safety protocols, including PPE use and proper body mechanics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Proficient in English; second language skills are an asset.
• Completed a Ministry-approved PSW training program (min. 640 hours) or be a student in related health fields.
• Experience as a Facility PSW is an asset.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Meet health surveillance requirements and criminal record check within the past year.
