Job summary

Qualicare Ottawa is hiring part-time PSWs and Caregivers to provide in-home support across Ottawa and surrounding communities. Earn flexible shifts and competitive wages while helping clients with daily tasks, mobility, meals, and companionship.

We value compassion, reliability and professionalism. Must have PSW certificate, CPR/First Aid, TB test, reliable transport, smartphone access, and a positive attitude. Training and PPE are provided, with ongoing opportunities through our QPath program.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW certificate or equivalent (nursing students and internationally trained nurses welcome).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Access to a smartphone.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with mobility, outings, and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope.
• Follow individualized care plans and complete visit documentation.
