Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Part-Time Personal Support Worker to join our home care team across Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Ontario. You will support patients with daily living activities, meal prep, and companionship in home settings.

Valid PSW certificate, compassionate approach, reliability, and a driver’s license are required; a Vulnerable Sector Screen is also expected. Signing bonus details apply for full-time roles where available.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid PSW certificate.
  • Able to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
  • Reliable and flexible in schedule and tasks.
  • Valid driver license and access to a vehicle for travel to residences.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
  • Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.

This position is located in Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Ontario. $750 Signing Bonus for Full-Time As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) you will be an integral part of the home and community care team. You will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community settings by assisting with activities of daily living.

What you’ll do
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
