Job summary

Right at Home Canada in Richmond Hill is seeking experienced PSWs to provide 1:1 client care in the home. You will support seniors with daily living activities, companionship, and personal care with patience and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors in a home or care setting.
• Must complete Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
• Able to communicate well with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social stimulation for clients in Richmond Hill.
• Initiate and promote physical activity at any level.
• Plans, prepares and serves meals, as needed.
• Prompt client to do his/her own personal care and assist with personal care if experienced.
• Performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and laundry.
• Accompanies clients on outings such as doctor appointments or activities for mental and physical stimulation.

What we need from you
