Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to support patients in their homes and communities across Canada. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and light housekeeping while ensuring comfort and dignity.

A valid PSW certificate is required and you must be willing to travel within a defined geographic area. Compensation ranges from CAD 21.13 to CAD 23.89 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and paid training opportunities.

As an integral part of the home and community care team, you will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community setting by assisting with activities of daily living. This is a Part-Time role during the weekdays & alternating weekends.

What you’ll do:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life
