Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a part-time PSW to assist residents with daily care tasks in our Ontario facilities. You will support residents with mobility, feeding, bathing and personal grooming while encouraging participation in activities.

You will provide emotional and social support to residents and families, upholding our compassionate, respectful care standards. As a PSW, you will work within a supportive mentorship environment, receive robust benefits, and contribute to a mission-driven team

Qualifications

• PSW certification is required.
• Able to perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, lifting).
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and respect.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.

What you bring

• Must provide a complete and current (within three months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.
