Job summary

EXTENDICARE is seeking part-time PSW staff to support residents with daily activities in our long-term care home. You will assist with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and grooming, while encouraging participation in activities and providing emotional support to residents and families.

The role requires compassionate, professional conduct, the ability to read and write English, and a valid PSW certification. A Vulnerable Sector Check is requested or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• PSW certification is required.
• Able to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching and lifting.
• Must have compassion, professionalism and respect.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

What you bring
