Description:

Home Instead is looking for certified Personal Support Workers (PSW), Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). We seek individuals with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to ensure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own environment.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that enable our clients to remain in their homes and face aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Companionship
• Hygiene Assistance
• Home Management
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Shopping & Errands
• Medication cueing
• Personal care assistance
• Keeping accurate records of care
• Maintaining communication regarding:
• Client activities
• Progress
• Concerns
• Treating & caring for clients & their property with dignity & respect
• Providing Alzheimer’s & Dementia care

Requirements to be a Caregiver:

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check
• Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references
• Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation

*Previous personal care experience is required or willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment*

Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available. We offer a variety of shifts, as we are available 24/7 for our clients!
