Job description

In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers / Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our clients in downtown Toronto. Work setting is within private homes.

As an IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client-focused care.

Schedule :

Mondays-Fridays, 4 : 30pm-8 : 30pm

How you will spend your days :

• Basic Meal Preparation
• Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
• Medication Reminders
• Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Responding to emergency situations
• Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role :

• Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification Preferred
• Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
• Ability to follow client care plan
• Strong problem-solving skills
