Job summary

triOS Education Group in Saint John, NB, is seeking a Part-time Personal Support Worker Instructor to deliver quality PSW courses in a respectful learning environment, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

You must be an RN or LPN in good standing with NANB/ANBLPN, hold a bachelor's degree in a related subject with 12 months of relevant experience, and have at least two years of healthcare experience. Teaching experience is an asset.

Job Title: Personal Support Worker Instructor

Hours: Part-time,Monday to Friday 8:00 am -1:00 pm

Start Date: October 19, 2026

End Date: April 05, 2027

Compensation: $30/hr

The Opportunity:

The primary responsibility of the PSW Instructor is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Personal Support Worker program, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.

What you bring to the role:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) or Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN).
• A bachelor's degree in a related subject plus 12 months of relevant experience.
• Minimum qualifications must be met as set out in the Private Career Colleges Act 2005
• Minimum of two (2) years of current, relevant work experience in a healthcare environment - preferably in a long-term/chronic care setting or with a community care agency.
• Previous teaching experience is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, motivation, and facilitation are preferred.
• Superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
