Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a Nursing degree.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in bedside procedures and care.
• Demonstrates tact and diplomacy when interacting with residents, families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living per individual care plans.
• Assist with communication, access to mobility aids, and administer simple treatments under supervision.
• Support residents' comfort, well-being and engagement in programs and activities.
