Job summary

SE Health is hiring a Full Time Evening Personal Support Worker (PSW) for Community Care and Respite in Stayner/Grey County and surrounding areas. You will receive mileage reimbursement and travel time coverage, with benefits, and opportunities for growth across Canada.

We value staff who are flexible for evenings (2-10 PM) and weekends, maintain CPR First Aid, immunizations, and a valid driver’s license, and who can provide compassionate, high-quality care to older adults.

Qualifications

• Must have valid PSW certificate.
• RN or RPN credentials accepted.
• Nursing student with 2 clinical placements qualifies.
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma required.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse may qualify.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work evenings 2-10PM and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
