Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a caring Personal Support Worker to assist patients in their homes and communities with daily living activities, meals, and light housekeeping. You will support independence and comfort, with a focus on dignity and high-quality, compassionate care.

The role requires a valid PSW certificate, reliability, and flexibility. Multilingual abilities are considered an asset to serve diverse clients across Ontario.

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.
• Multilingual abilities in Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Ukrainian or Russian are assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life.

ParaMed is pleased to partner with the Ontario government to provide a $3/hour wage enhancement in addition to regular earnings.
