Job summary

ParaMed Inc. is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our home and community care team in Belleville, Ontario. You will support patients in their homes by assisting with daily living activities, meals, and light housekeeping, enabling independence and quality of life.

Qualifications include a valid PSW certificate, compassion, reliability, and a willingness to travel within the area. Part-time positions offer a retention bonus and a competitive hourly rate, with potential for growth

Job Description *Retention bonus up to $500 As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) you will be an integral part of the home and community care team. You will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community settings by assisting with activities of daily living.

What you’ll do:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life

What you bring:

• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate

• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patient’s residences within a geographical area
