Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for Community Care in Markham and nearby areas. The role involves driving to client locations with mileage/travel time covered, and it requires a valid PSW certificate, valid driver's license, immunization, CPR Level C, and First Aid.

Availability for days or evenings and every other weekend is needed. The position is physically demanding and requires lifting up to ~55 pounds.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
