Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Creemore, ON. Join a compassionate team providing in-home care to clients in the Huntsville area, with flexible shifts and ongoing shifts to build client relationships.

We offer paid training, PPE, and a supportive environment for PSWs or experienced caregivers committed to quality care and reliable transportation. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

PSW certificate or equivalent (nursing students/foreign nurses welcome)
CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
Reliable transportation
Access to mobile & internet

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
Offer companionship and social engagement
Provide medication reminders and monitor adherence
Assist with transportation and errands
Follow care plans and document care activities
