Job summary

ParaMed is seeking part-time Personal Support Workers to travel home to home across Chatham Kent and surrounding areas. You will support patients with daily living activities and provide companionship to improve quality of life.

Requirements include a valid PSW certificate, a valid driver’s license, and a Vulnerable Sector Screen. We offer training, benefits, and mileage reimbursement for a meaningful community role.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to patient residences within a geographical area.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, skin, hair and oral care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to care plan.
