Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to help clients in Mount Forest, Palmerston, Dundalk and surrounding Ontario communities. You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, and provide companionship to enhance quality of life in patient homes.

Requirements include a valid PSW certificate, driver’s license, and willingness to travel within a defined geographic area. ParaMed offers full-time roles with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate is required.
  • Compassionate care with patients in home settings.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to travel within service area.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to care plan, including special diets.
  • Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.
