Qualifications

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) required.
• Must have RN or RPN credentials.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for daily work.
• Availability to work days or evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for clients in the community.
• Drive to multiple locations and manage travel time.
• Implement care plans and assist with daily activities.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC).
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
