As a Personal Lines Team Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Personal Lines Sales and Service teams. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and engaging a team of insurance professionals, managing performance, and supporting the execution of sales and retention strategies to meet branch targets. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, service delivery, and team development, while maintaining operational standards and upholding HUB’s reputation in the community.

A Day in the Life – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop Personal Lines Sales and Service team members to deliver exceptional client experiences.

  • Manage all aspects of branch operations including staffing, scheduling, performance, compliance, and client engagement.

  • Support the execution of sales strategies to drive growth, improve retention, and maximize cross-sell opportunities.

  • Monitor and maintain operational standards including compliance with industry regulations and internal best practices.

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.

  • Provide regular coaching and feedback through scheduled one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews.

  • Foster a high-performance culture through clear communication, goal setting, and employee engagement.

  • Ensure the delivery of consistent, professional service that aligns with HUB’s client service standards.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and resolve issues that impact service or efficiency.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal partners and clients to support business growth and reputation.

  • Actively participate in the local business community to expand HUB’s presence and network.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of insurance brokerage experience, preferably in Personal Lines.

  • Level 2 General Insurance license.

  • Industry designation (e.g., CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) considered an asset.

Salary Expectations -

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
